Wild Strongholds

Mongolia

Spirit of the Gobi is a documentary film by Wild Strongholds which discusses why hunting has never been more important for the conservation of wildlife and habitat in Mongolia.

Set in the far reaches of the Gobi Desert, Ed Hudson interviews the head of a non-governmental organization, locals, and government officials to unearth the biggest threats to ibex and argali species in Mongolia and how to protect these species.

During these interviews, Wild Strongholds discovers that 60% of the world population does not care about hunting, whatsoever, while 30% hate hunting outright, and only 10% of the world population have an understanding of hunting or are active participants
